Hey everyone! I am so thankful for the incredible services we had this Easter weekend. We had nearly 11,000 people in attendance and over 1200 decisions for Christ. But you know what is so exciting to me? Is that so many people I talked to that made that commitment really understood Stovall’s message about salvation not being an EVENT. They really got it that salvation is all about the come back! So many of the people I talked to said, “I made a commitment to Jesus — and I will be back!” How huge is that?
Thanks so much to all of our church members for stepping out and inviting friends, to our staff for all the late nights and extra hours you put in, and to our incredible army of volunteers, who sacrificed their comfortable Easter weekends to pace on the front porch with the father and watch for all the prodigals to come home! You guys make all the difference — we are so honored to labor alongside for the cause.

Easter was so awesome and the message was wonderful. Wow, to sit there and see all the people that made decisions for Christ just made me cry and gave me chills. I have family members that I would give anything if they could have heard that message, I invited them to come. I pray for them to “Come Back” — Friday night was incredible too - it really touched me - the whole weekend, just incredible. God is good! IN HIM, Debby T.
Loved this Easter weekend. I love how Pastor really explained that it is about coming back, and then continuing to come back! We all fail and fall short of the glory of God, but He redeems us and sets us back on track, when we make him Lord of our life. I think when we allow God to work in other people’s lives then He always amazes us. The great thing about Celebration is that it isn’t forced down your throat. There is room for the Holy Spirit to move and nudge at our hearts, saved or unsaved. God is only one that truly changes us, and you can find Him here at Celebration! Go God!
