Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know about as great blog that I’ve really been into over the past few weeks. It’s authored by a gal named Anne Jackson. Currently it’s my favorite blog out there. She writes about everything from church leadership (she is on staff at lifechurch.tv) to honest dialouge about how she won the battle with pornography in her own life (30% of all viewers of online porn are female).
What I love about Anne is that she is not afraid to deal with tough issues, but she is balanced, down -to- earth, and often humorous in her apporach. On top of it all, she’s a great writer.
Today she posts the story of a young girl named Lynse who God redeemed from cutting, a form of self injury. To read about it, visit Anne’s blog at www.flowerdust.net. I really think you’ll love her — comment and let me know.
Love you girls!

Kerri - i love Anne too! She is wonderful!
Thank you for linking to the story. Gods redeeming love and His hope was really the only thing to change my life. As people hear they are brought into freedom!
Yeah Pastor Kerri! Anne’s one of our favorites too…she really seems to have a unique voice for women but also to give insight into the female psyche to men as she recently did for her blogs on deadlyviper.org . We’re looking forward to her new book. Enjoy the summer with the kids out of school!
Lynse — You are right!keep telling your story and bring love, hope and freedom to those who need it.
Big John — now that I know you’re reading my blog I will have to quit signing off with “Love you Girls.”
Hi Kerri! You are so right! I LOVE her writing style and she is so relevant!!She is now on the blogroll of my new site. Thanks for referring her.
Pastor Kerri:
I am so excited to start reading her blogs and even more excited that our church is not scared to talk about pornography and women. The first time I heard that 30% of all pornography abusers were women, I wasn’t shocked, I just thought to myself, “why don’t we (woman) talk about this stuff the way men do, why can we just let it go and eat at us in isolation?”. I am lucky to be in a church who stands stong. Thanks for bringing this stuff to us Pastor, your heart is amazing.
Kerri,
Thank you so much for this sweet post and the comments are SO encouraging!
Sophia, so glad you liked Anne’s blog. She’s great. And thanks for the shout out to my generosity post on your blog. Love your blog btw.
Jaime, If you are stirred to help girls recover sexual purity after struggling through this issue, you might seriously like the “Kissed the Girls and Made them Cry” curriculum by Lisa Bevere. Saw on your blog you are working with Katie @ OP this summer. Soak it up — she has tons to offer you in the way of ministry and personal development.
Anne — I feel like a rock star just posted on my blog. Seriously, thanks. And glad you liked the femininity post. xo - K
