Yes, I would love to know more about fasting while pregnant/nursing. I was pregnant during the time of the fast and unaware that I could participate in the fast. I now, am a nursing mother and will be for at least a year. I would love to know what I am able to do!! Thank you!!!

Pastor Kerri,
Recipes would be great and I would like to see different types of fast, because I don't really know that much about them. When I think of fasting, I think of not eating! I just started going to Celebration in December and in Jan. when the fast was going on, I tried but I was so lost on what to eat I felt confused! Any infomation on fasting would be good, I would like to prepare myself for the next fast!

Pastor Kerri,
I really enjoyed your personal supplement regime. That laid out a little more in advance to have time to gather them would be great. My husband and I did a few of them this year and could definitely did make a different. I personally want to thank you for being so transparent with us all this year. Great to be able to glean from your experience.

Yes to all of the above!! I think it would be good to include your blog post from January. Everything you wrote was so helpful. Especially knowing that if you get off track you just pick it right back up. I agree with Heather, that the resources should be available in December. I believe the better prepared you are the more successful the fast will be. My fast this year was more successful this year than all the others. It had a lot to do with all the information you made available. Thank you so much!!

This is a great idea! I'd like to see a section discussing different types of fasts, as I don't think people new to fasting understand that there are many different ways to fast beyond the traditional "40 days in the wilderness w/o food radical Jesus fast."

Hi Pastor Kerri

Great idea! I think it would be valuable if you gave some guidelines and "boundaries" for fasting for students from the age of 18 and younger. It's important to know that they have "options" within the fast while they participate in school, homework, sports, etc. Going all out on the fast is awesome, yet, some practical advice would be valuable for their age range as well as the adults.

Could you share some recipes and also your thoughts/insights on fasting in regards to the condition of our hearts during fasting and that it's not just about abstaining from eating. In the past I focused so much on what I couldn't have that it consumed my thoughts! This past fast I tried to keep it simple so my thoughts were more with the Lord...Thanks! This is going to be great:)

Pastor Kerri, this is gonna be great! I think the answer to the questions in your post is "D. All of the above". Definitely more recipes, knowing the great cook that you are. I loved the posts that you did in January on fasting - they were SO helpful and got down to the practical application of when to start preparing and how. I actually saved them with the idea that I would print them all out together and have them ready in December to start preparing for next year's fast. Can't wait to get it! Love you! XO

More recipes!!!
A section on kids/teens and fasting.
How do we deal with health professionals who don't understand?
I actually had an very uncomfortable moment at the doctor's office when my 7 yr old son blurted out that we were fasting. In my mind I saw social workers pounding down my door:-) I explained how & why to the doctor. It was a very uncomfortable moment & I don't think the doctor "got it". He was assured we were not starving & restircting our kids diets in an unhealthy way(just, tv & video games).
