Hey Kerri,

I just found your blog. My hubby and I use to attend Celebration in Austin, Texas. Pastor Joe is a hoot and we absolutely adore him. I remember Stovall coming to visit us last year. It was the first time I’ve ever heard him preach and thought he was something else. I remember leaving the sermon and telling my hubby that I felt like I was listening to an old friend rather than a sermon. That I could really understand Stovall’s style. Hubby laughed and said it was the Louisiana accent. I told him, “I didn’t hear any accent.” He burst into laughter because we are from New Orleans and I’m always getting a hard time for mine.

We just relocated (job transfer) to Houston. We now have to watch Pastor Joe and Pastor Stovall by internet. We try to keep up by purchasing DVD’s from your church. I heard you preach on hospitality. The way you talked about Gumbo in your sermon; I can see we’d be good friends (wink). Hope y’all have a super week. God bless and Happy Birthday!!!

Kerri, I have missed your postings but respected your time to chill. It is always so refreshing to have someone be so open and honest with their feelings the way you are. Thank you and Happy 40th. I just hit mine as well. Every day we wake up breathing is a GOOD day.

Your list gives all of us much to think about at any age. You are such an inspiration to so many ladies both young and old. Thank you for helping us to realize what is really important.
