Today was a funny day…
Begin…toilet overflow.
Next…homeschool mutiny.
Followed by… House alarm going off every 30 seconds (no I am not exaggerating.)
Culminating in…me stabbing the alarm to death with the pointy end of a paint brush.
So… I guess there’s really no point to this post. But what a funny day.

Just wanted to say there have been a few days when I’ve wanted to smack a few objects with the pointy end of a paintbrush too. Glad to know you’re not afraid to show your “human side”. Also wanted to say that Pastor Siebeling’s (I hope I spelled it right) message yesterday was just what I needed to hear. I have been waiting for an answer to a prayer and trial that I went through all last year. Anyway, I was waiting and found myself feeling discouraged because I haven’t seen it happen yet and thought maybe the delay meant God wasn’t with me. Great to hear that set-back can actually be a God set-up. Why do we always get surprised that God really does speak to us through the message, like He doesn’t already know what is on our hearts…… We sure are funny creatures.
I’ve had days like that, when you might as well laugh at it, because crying won’t do any good. Anxious to hear what the alarm company says when they come out to replace the control panel.
Ha, ha, toilet overflow…I live in an apartment and I do not know what happened with my toilet, but most of the time it’s overflowing, especially if it’s a rainy day. I explained to my husband and kids what to do if I am not at home. When the toilet overflows, my little girl, she is 6 yells, “The toilet, the toilet,” and everybody at home runs like crazy! It is funny!! Everybody brings a towel and throws them in the edge of the door. And my little girl one day brought her beautiful, pretty, Princess quilt. Ha, ha, ha…thank God it was just water!!!
